Church News asked several Latter-day Saint leaders about their hopes and dreams for the next generation of missionaries during a Seminar for New Mission Leaders in Provo, Utah, in June 2023.
Some of their responses were compiled into a recently released video titled “Future Missionaries.”
“They’ll lead this church, and they’ll lead the Lord’s work here for the next 50 years! You think of them, and you just think, ‘They are brand new and just starting out’ but the difference they’ll make is huge!" said Elder Quentin L. Cook of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles and chairman of the Church’s Missionary Executive Council.
