In honor of International Women’s Day, Sister Kristin M. Yee, second counselor in the Relief Society General Presidency, shared a sweet,new video on her social media platforms. Her message is tailored to women who are single and anyone who “needs to know they are loved and known by our Heavenly Father.”
In the video message, Sister Yee shares her thoughts after meeting several incredible women who are single on a recent assignment to Texas. Sister Yee herself is also single.
She says, “They are women of beauty inside and out—women of strength, women of kindness, women of goodness, women who needed to know they were not alone and that they were loved, and that they were doing wonderfully well.”

Sister Yee goes on to share her testimony of God’s love and awareness of all His children. “You are never alone. You can find complete understanding in Them. You were meant to partner with the Lord in a powerful way through your covenants. … Your walls—your needs, challenges, and desires, are continually before Him (see Isaiah 49:14–16). There is never a time you are not on His mind and in His heart. You are graven upon the palms of His hands.”
Comments on the video include heartfelt gratitude from women around the world. Facebook user Kelly Ford wrote, “Thank you so much, Sister Yee! Your sweet testimony brings me so much hope and a continual desire to focus on my relationship with my Savior and Father in Heaven!” And Instagram user Emmaleigh Hobson wrote, “This is wonderful and such a beautiful sentiment. I think my heart needed to hear this and my spirit was lifted by it. Thank you Sister Yee!”
