In conjunction with the 2022 youth theme, “Trust in the Lord,” the Church released a beautiful new music video.

This year’s youth theme comes from Proverbs 3:5-6:“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
Fans on YouTube have already shown their gratitude and love for the new video. Chase Allen wrote in a comment, “I love the symbolism of the video, we are in a world of darkness with Christ as our light. But we aren’t just meant to stand in the light forever but to … being more people into the light. Sometimes it is successful and people will join you, some my seem interested but not change, and some will block you out. But in the end when the light reaches us all we will join in and rejoice together.”

Nik Day wrote and composed the music for the Trust in the Lord album. “I think youth connect with music a lot,” he told Newsroom, “and the messages in the songs are simple and catchy, which help remind them about the gospel and the importance of staying close to Christ.”
The 12-track album is now available to stream on 35 different platforms, including the 2022 youth theme website, Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Gospel Library, and the Sacred Music app. Additional languages will be added to these platforms as they are available.
More resources for the 2022 youth theme, including lyrics, sheet music, artwork, T-shirts and other resources are now available on the 2022 youth theme website. Leaders, parents, and youth can download and use these tools for activities, camps, youth conferences, and devotionals throughout the year.
