A Latter-day Saint father recently pulled off an amazing surprise for his family.
KSL reports that Jason and Carrie Kendrick gathered with their family members at Salt Lake City International Airport to welcome their son Noah home from his mission. Noah had been serving in New York City for the last two years while his twin brother, Nick, was serving in Detroit. Nick was expected to return home later in the month.
But thanks to coordinated efforts between Jason, Church travel officials, and mission leaders, Nick and Noah arrived home on the same flight.
Flying early in the morning from NYC, Noah met his brother in Detroit, and the twins flew together to Salt Lake City. The expected twin, Noah, first emerged from the terminal and tearfully hugged his ecstatic mother.
“No one knows the secret of the twin brother coming home at the same time,” Jason Kendrick told KSL reporters at the airport with a smile on his face.
