After being molested by a person she considered a close friend, Ally didn't know where to turn.
Ally was already struggling with mental health issues and the abuse sent her into a deep spiral downward. "My spirit broke into pieces that day. It was crushed," she says.
At first, Ally didn't tell anyone about the abuse. "I was so scared to tell anyone about what had happened mainly because, in my mind, I was trying to think that it didn't happen," she shares.
But a few questions from a doctor following a surgery helped Ally to share with someone what had happened and helped her begin her path toward healing.
