What better way to draw nearer to God than through uplifting music? And that's exactly what Latter-day Saint missionaries Elder Townsend and Elder Booth were hoping to accomplish when they created a ukulele version of "Nearer, My God, to Thee" last year and shared it on social media.
"If I've learned anything in my life, it's that only by drawing 'Nearer' to God, in the midst of our weaknesses and afflictions, can we feel a lasting source of peace and joy in this life. I am so grateful for Him!" Elder Townsend wrote on Facebook.
