The BYU Cougarettes brought home two national championships this weekend—bringing the world-renowned dance team’s total number of national titles to 22.
The team's first win came with their jazz routine. The moving choreography is set to Imagine Dragon’s song, “Wrecked.”
“This piece will forever hold a special place in our hearts. We hope you all love it as much as we do. Thank you to our incredible choreographer … for trusting us with this special routine. We are so grateful,” the Cougarettes posted on Instagram.

After winning the jazz competition, the Cougarette weren’t done yet. That night they competed in the preliminary round for hip-hop, where their performance put them in the No.1 spot going into the final round.
When a jaw-dropping performance made them national champions once again, the Cougarette’s shared on Instagram, “We are so grateful to be bringing home 2 national titles!!! That makes the Cougarettes 22-time national champions. What an amazing day to be a BYU Cougar 💙”

After flying home from their wildly successful weekend, the Cougarette’s shared, “We have safely landed in Utah and want to take a minute to send our love to the people who made this week possible. Winning 2 titles takes a village and we are so grateful for ours.”
