Struggling to find a meaningful gift for that bride and groom? Here are some of our favorite wedding gift ideas to suit any and every happy couple.
Intellectual Reserve, Inc.

Springtime means sunny days, warmer weather, blossoming flowers, and for many couples, wedding planning. Whether your calendar is full of receptions over the next few months or you have one important family celebration on the horizon, here are some of our favorite wedding gift ideas to suit the styles, interests, and personalities of any bride and groom.

Gifts to fill their new home with style

Every couple has their unique style (as you’ll soon find out by surveying their choice of wedding colors, reception decor, and even bridal attire). And the art we display in our homes is a wonderful way to put that personal style on full display. If you want to give the couple art as a wedding gift, look for an art piece as unique as they are: colorful, traditional, minimalist, suited for a gallery wall, in statue form, or celebratory of their love.

The “pouf for two” is perfect as a bench, ottoman, coffee table, mini-sofa, chaise lounge, or even chess tournament table!

If art is not their cup of tea, think about their hobbies or interests and pattern your gift accordingly. Do they like hosting? Try a charcuterie board, a table runner, or a serving tray.

Are they practical? A cute new laundry hamper would be a welcome gift. Do they love to spend time in the kitchen? Consider getting them tea towels or a new cookie jar. Are they a cozy couple? Get them a new blanket, a throw pillow, or a pouf seat perfect for two!

Gifts to enrich their gospel living as a couple

The Conference Connections flipbook is a beautiful and easy way for the newlyweds to display the spiritual thoughts conference in their home and spark easy gospel conversation.

Nearly everything about going from dating to engaged to married is an adjustment, one of the biggest of which is getting into a routine as a newlywed couple.

If you want to help them more quickly incorporate gospel living into that rhythm, you could give the happy couple Come, Follow Me study tools like the Don’t Miss This Study Guide, the Come Follow Me Journal Edition, his and hers Book of Mormon journal editions, or a stylish, leatherbound copy of The Book of Mormon. Or you might help them dive deeper into the messages of general conference with the General Conference Addresses, Journal Edition, or the Conference Connections flipbook.

You could also get the happy couple his and hers temple bags to get them excited to return to the temple together frequently.

Gifts that are less traditional

Pre-assembled emergency food kits will last the happy couple through their 25th anniversary, making it a sure way to be remembered!

One thing I have personally never seen on a wedding registry is emergency preparedness and food supplies, but I guarantee there isn’t a couple out there who wouldn’t appreciate a headstart on their family’s emergency plan with a survival kit, freeze-dried meals, or emergency tools.

If the couple likes to play games, maybe there’s a new card game, board game, or puzzle they might have fun with. (On a personal note, board games and card games were some of our favorite wedding gifts and they still get used all the time to this day!)

If the bride or groom enjoys cooking, there are cookbooks perfect for budding pastry chefs and home cooks who are pressed for time. Or make newlywed life even easier and give them a box mix to quickly whip up delicious Lion House dinner rolls or raspberry muffins!
