Concept

On a camping trip, two of our founders, one having a Doctorate in pharmacy, were discussing the causes of bad breath and potential remedies. It was during this discussion the idea for a breath mint, lasting hours instead of minutes that would cleanse the mouth of bacteria causing bad breath, had its origin.

The Challenge

We put together a team of doctors, scientists and inventors, committed to discovering and innovating new technologies, to redefine expectations for breath mints, and provide unprecedented self-confidence about their breath.

The Results

Our team developed a tiny, time-release tablet that was similar in size to a baby aspirin, adhered to the gum or cheek, took hours to dissolve, and continuously released a pleasant, aromatic flavor. In addition to freshening the breath, it also had an ingredient that acted as a sweetener which has been shown in dental studies to inhibit the formation of plaque, a common cause of tooth decay and gum disease. The formulation used all-natural ingredients. After creating our 4EverMint product, we received a US Patent (9,737,466).

Comparing 4EverMints with Other Breath Mints

In independent lab testing, our mints outlasted our competitors in duration by over 14 times. This was important since the cost of the micro-technology ingredients was significantly higher than the cost of competitive, sugar-based, mints. On a cost/performance basis we evaluated our competitors’ products and learned the following:

  • • The average bottle of commonly used sugar mints contained 70 tablets, with an average duration of 3 minutes.
  • • Compared to 4EverMints, which last over 2 hours, it would take 40 candy mints to equal the duration on only 1 ForeverMint tablet.
  • • To equal the duration of 100 ForeverMint tablets, one would have to purchase 60 mint containers or 4,000 candy mints.  Depending upon the type of candy mints, the average cost would be $120.
  • • In comparison to the average cost of 60 bottles of candy mints of $120, the cost for 100 4EverMints is only $29.95, which is a 75% savings when compared to candy mints. Therefore, 4EverMints, on a cost-performance basis, is a significant bargain.

Our customers call it a miracle. We call it the “Science of Self-Confidence”.
