Shima Baradaran Baughman is a professor, author and distinguished fellow at the Wheatley Institute where she studies religion and human flourishing. She has authored and coauthored three books and over thirty articles, some of which have been featured in the NY Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, NPR, and other media outlets. She is originally from Iran and has five children: Kian, Darian, Milo, Joon, and Teza. She enjoys hiking, hunting for antiques, and is slowly learning how to golf to keep up with her husband, Ryan.
