Rocío Gómez

Rocío Gómez grew up in Mexico and was baptized in the church at 12. She attended Benemérito de las Américas, a Church-owned high school in Mexico City that now serves as Mexico’s Missionary Training Center. While at Benemérito, she was awarded a scholarship to study at BYU-Idaho.

After earning her degree, she started a family and dedicated 13 years to being a stay-at-home mom to her three children. Life, however, took her on a different path. After her divorce, she returned to school and graduated with a Master’s in Nursing. She also remarried a wonderful man who has supported her in pursuing her dreams.

Today, she is a professor for nursing students, a diabetes educator, and a holistic health coach. She is also the co-founder and CEO of Tiempo Para Nosotras, an annual event for Latter-day Saint Hispanic women in Utah. This inspiring gathering helps women strengthen their connection with God, themselves, and others through uplifting words and music. Learn more at www.tiempoparanosotras.com.
