View this post on Instagram Hello Instagram! My name is Bonnie Cordon. I am currently serving as the Young Women General President of the @churchofjesuschrist. You might be wondering, “Who in the world is Bonnie Cordon?” I’m a disciple of Jesus Christ, a mother and grandmother, a farm girl through and through. I may not be the most interesting person in the world, but I do have some great stories about my favorite chickens growing up on a farm and some tips on how to be an average track athlete! 🐔🏃♀️ I also know God is so aware of all of us, even when things don’t necessarily go our way. He loves you very, very much. I look forward to connecting with you here on Instagram. And while you’re here, you should also connect with @michelledcraig_ and @beckylcraven, who serve with me in the Young Women presidency. They’re just the best! “We are excited to connect with the young women where they are,” said Young Women General President Bonnie H. Cordon. “This is a platform where they are connecting with one another, and we hope that we too can connect with them. The Young Women of today have so much light to share, and social media tools like Instagram help give a space for them to share their light and love of the Savior.”
Primary President Joy D. Jones said, “I am grateful for this means of communicating in a more personal way with members across the globe.”
“We’re delighted to be able to communicate with our sisters of all ages around the globe on the Instagram platform,” said Relief Society General President Jean B. Bingham. “This is a wonderful opportunity to increase our feeling of unity as the gospel of Jesus Christ brings us together in love and service.”
In the coming months, the sisters will share messages of the Savior’s love, hope, encouragement and inspiration. Instagram is a platform used by over 1 billion people worldwide, the majority of whom are outside of the United States.
