After holding a devotional at Safeco Field, home of the Seattle Mariners in a stadium that can hold 47,000, President Russell M. Nelson will then speak at the Langley Centre, home of the Vancouver Giants, the Church announced Wednesday.
President Russell M. Nelson of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and his wife, Wendy, will continue the prophet’s ministry with a September visit to Seattle, Washington, and Vancouver, British Columbia. They will be joined by President Henry B. Eyring of the First Presidency for devotionals at Safeco Field in Seattle September 15, 2018, and the Langley Centre in Vancouver September 16, 2018.
World Ministry Tour
President Nelson’s trip to the Pacific Northwest follows a series of other travels this year. These include visits in April to eight cities on several continents in 11 days, as well as visits in June to three cities in Alberta, Canada. Next week, he and Sister Nelson will visit three additional cities in Canada.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah, has more than 16 million members around the world.
The Church has 159 temples worldwide, including the Vancouver British Columbia Temple (completed in 2010), the Seattle Washington Temple (completed in 1980) and the Spokane Washington Temple (completed in 1999). The number of temples is growing, with 30 others announced or under construction.
Washington has more than 288,000 Latter-day Saints in 546 congregations. Nearly 197,000 Latter-day Saints in 496 congregations reside in Canada.
