With so much turmoil and hate in the world today, it's difficult to overcome the bitter divisiveness that seems only to grow as time moves on.
But President Thomas S. Monson reminded all of us of a simple truth from his general conference talk "Love—the Essence of the Gospel" that can help us to overcome hate and help us to love others.
Beyond comprehension, my brothers and sisters, is the love of God for us. Because of this love, He sent His Son, who loved us enough to give His life for us, that we might have eternal life.
As we come to understand this incomparable gift, our hearts will be filled with love for our Eternal Father, for our Savior, and for all mankind.
