The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has released the site location for the Tulsa Oklahoma Temple.

The single-story temple of approximately 29,600 square feet will be constructed on a 25.7-acre site located at the northwest corner of 51st St. and 136th E Avenue, Tulsa, Tulsa County, Oklahoma.

The Tulsa Oklahoma Temple was announced in October 2023 by Church President Russell M. Nelson. “The Lord is directing us to build these temples to help us think celestial. God lives. Jesus is the Christ. His Church has been restored to bless all of God’s children,” he said after announcing 20 new temples, including the Tulsa Oklahoma Temple.

In addition to the Tulsa Oklahoma Temple, Oklahoma has one other operating temple located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
