In a music video released yesterday, April 22, popular alternative rock band Neon Trees let their fans peek into their pasts--including to their Mormon roots. All four members have a Mormon background: Tyler Glenn (vocals, keyboard), Branden Campell (bass guitar, vocals), Chris Allen (guitar, vocals), and Elaine Bradley (drums, percussion, vocals). Elaine even recently appeared in an "I'm a Mormon" video put out by the Church.
While we're not sure what all the symbolism in the song in about, here are a few great pictures from their past as featured in the video:
Lead vocalist Tyler Glenn served a 2-year mission in Nebraska--check out the nametag.
Another fun mission pic from bass guitarist Branden Campell.
Drummer Elaine married Sebastian Bradley in the Mt. Timanogos Temple in January 2010.
