Tuesday's Fall Festival and Open House offers a chili cook-off, refreshments, games, a bounce, children's activities — and a chance to "Mingle with the Mormons." Three Knoxville congregations of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will host the event, 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the church at 6024 Grove Drive, near Gresham Middle School. The festival was given the tongue-in-cheek name after church members noticed a growing curiosity about their religion, brought on in part by the presidential candidacy of Mitt Romney, who is an LDS member.
