Beloved singer and youngest sibling of The Osmonds, Jimmy Osmond, age 55, suffered a stroke on Thursday while performing as Captain Hook in a central England production, according to his spokesperson.
In a statement for the performer, his spokesperson confirmed: "On the evening of Thursday December 27th after pushing through the evening’s performance of Peter Pan at Birmingham Hippodrome, Jimmy Osmond was driven straight to hospital and diagnosed with a stroke. He is grateful for all the well wishes and will be taking time out in the new year.”

Donny Osmond and Marie Osmond have both posted on social media about their youngest brother's latest health scare. On Facebook, Donny wrote, "Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers on behalf of my little brother, Jimmy Osmond. I love you, brother."

This is not the first time Jimmy Osmond has had a stroke. In 2004, the performer also suffered a stroke during a performance. He told Parade that the 2004 incident was “actually a transient ischemic attack that occurred due to a hole in my heart [a patent foramen ovale or PFO that doesn’t close as it should after birth].
“A blood clot ‘popped’ in my head — not due to high blood pressure or high cholesterol. I went on stage and felt that ‘pop’ and then lost my vision, although I could see a little ‘pin’ spot,” he explained. “I thought it was a migraine and amazingly, I drove home.”
Jimmy Osmond has been performing for more than 50 years and was the first in his family to receive a gold record, when he was just five years old.
