The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints released the 2023 statistical report online during the Saturday morning session of the April 2024 general conference. The statistical report includes the total number of stakes, missions, and temples worldwide.
Total Membership
According to the report, the total number of Church members worldwide as of Dec. 31, 2023, is 17,255,394. This is an increase of 252,933 members (1.48%) since 2022.
Converts Baptized
The number of new members baptized in 2023 was 251,763. This is an increase of 18.66% over 2022.
Full-Time Missionaries
In 2023, the number of full-time missionaries of the Church totaled 67,871. Church service missionaries totaled 31,685.
