Elder Oaks: One Thing We Should Not Do When Loved Ones Live Differently Than We Believe

In a new Church video, Elder Dallin H. Oaks tells about the letters he's received from parents and other members in the Church experiencing heartbreak after their loved ones have decided to live their lives differently than the Church teaches.

Each of these members wonders, "What should we do?"

"The first thing I always suggest is keep loving them. In the end, that is something you can always do," Elder Oaks shares.

He continues, "We should not start off our interaction with people who are making different choices than we desire by arguing about their choices. It's better to start off by talking about where you're coming from."
