Since I was a Beehive, I've received quotes from prophets, lists, and handouts about what we can and can't do on Sunday. While well-intentioned, I'm not sure these lists capture the spirit of what it means to keep the Sabbath day holy.

As Elder David A. Bednar recently shared in a Facebook post:
The Sabbath day provides a sacred opportunity to worship and express our devotion to our Father in Heaven. We are lifted spiritually as we reverence the Sabbath day.
Many wonder, “What should I do on the Lord’s day?” President Russell M Nelson suggested: “What sign will you give to the Lord to show your love for Him?”
There are no detailed checklists of what should or should not be done on Sunday. By humbly and prayerfully considering what is appropriate for you and counseling with your family, you can determine, with the guidance of the Spirit, appropriate activities for the Sabbath day.
As your understanding of and your reverence for the Atonement of Jesus Christ increases and expands, so will your love for His day—even the Sabbath day.
