Don’t live near a Giving Machine? Here’s how you can still donate to the charities involved

The Church’s 2021 Light the World campaign just launched this morning. This year, 10 US cities will host the Church’s beloved red Light the World Giving Machines, including Las Vegas, Nashville, Honolulu, Orem, Salt Lake City, Oakland, Gilbert, Kansas City, Denver, and New York City.

But for those of us who won't be in one of those locations this holiday season, the Church has also provided a list of the Giving Machines’ charity partners and links where you can donate to them online

You can donate to the five international charities linked to each of the Light the World Giving Machines below:

UNICEF

The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) works in more than 190 countries and provides health care, safe water, emergency relief, and more.


CARE

CARE is an international humanitarian organization fighting global poverty and hunger by working alongside women and girls. Help fight world hunger.


CWS Global

CWS Global is a faith-based organization helping communities around the globe with hunger, poverty, displacement, and disaster


WaterAid

WaterAid is an international nonprofit determined to make clean water, decent toilets, and good hygiene a reality for everyone everywhere within a generation.


UNHCR

UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, is a global organization dedicated to saving lives, protecting rights, and building a better a future for refugees, forcibly displaced communities and stateless people.


Additionally, each Giving Machine also has local charity partners with donation opportunities that will help local community members and projects. You can learn more about the international and local charity partners here.

The Giving Machines webpage also encourages members to visit JustServe.org to find non-monetary opportunities to serve in your local community.
