Diane Gerdy Iman was born and raised in Boulder, Colorado. Diane attended Ricks College (now BYU–Idaho) where she received an associate degree in Elementary Education. After her mission to the Czech Republic, Diane attended BYU where she studied for a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and worked as a secretary in the Religion Department on campus. With only one semester to go, she changed her major to Family Science and decided to become a full-time seminary teacher. During this time, she met Kyle Iman. For their first official date, they watched 27 children during a viewing and a week and a half later, Diane and Kyle were engaged. Kyle and Diane have been married for 22 years and currently live in Utah with their three children. As evidenced by her degrees, Diane loves children and currently serves in the stake Primary presidency. Her other interests include cheering on her children at soccer games, traveling, fountain sodas, and BYU Creamery chocolate milk.
