David Archuleta shared the sweetest Facebook post to welcome his sister home from her 18-month mission in Texas.
"Welcome home Hermana Archuleta!!! My sister is back after serving as a missionary in Houston, TX for 18 months. Great job mi hermanita!" Archuleta shares.
In 2014, Archuleta posted a video of himself coming home from his two-year mission he served in Chile.
After returning home from his mission, Archuleta opened up about his transition from missionary life to post-mission life and how it felt to put those feelings into words with his song, "Numb."
It was so relieving," Archuleta told Billboard. "I just needed to know I could be real with people. I needed to know I could be honest and talk about how I was really feeling at that time in my life. I feel like, as a musician, people want to feel a story. You know, there are songs that people want to have a good time—fun, summer songs. But I think a lot of other times, people do really want to connect with what's coming from someone's heart, from their soul, and what they're going through. I feel like this was a song that was that for me."

Other Side Of Down includes a sequence of pop tracks that intertwine contemporary sounds and genuine lyrics. The first single "Something 'Bout Love" is an up-tempo track produced by Sam & Sluggo. The fun loving beat is coupled with the meaningful and optimistic message that there is "something 'bout love that breaks your heart, but [you] don't give up."
