To get people everywhere excited for general conference, the Church released a new video on its social media channels.
The text of the video compares some of the more modern types of conferences like teleconferences, video conferences, and conference calls to what Church leaders and members alike hope general conference will be: a conference of faith, peace, and hope.
One viewer on Instagram commented, ”I‘m increasingly desperate for the reassurance this weekend brings. ❤” Another user on Facebook wrote, ”I always feel the great strength and power and the love in my heart expands when I listen with real intent to learn through the gift and power of the Holy Ghost as truths are presented to us through all the talks and beautiful music. We are a blessed people to be able to have these wonderful opportunities.“
