If you’re looking for a quick, daily dose of the Book of Mormon this year, look no further. The Instagram account Book of Mormon 365 has done the heavy lifting for you, dividing the entire Book of Mormon into manageable daily reading assignments. If you follow along each day, by December 31 you will have read the entire book!
A daily Instagram post will include the verses to read and a thoughtful question to ponder or answer in the comments. And each of these bite-sized sections of scripture will help you more regularly feast on the words of Christ—even if you only have a few minutes each day.
If you’ve participated in the Book of Mormon 365 reading assignments in years past, you’ll want to join again this year—because the 2024 reading plan includes brand new questions and new daily assignments that are now aligned with the same weekly schedule as the Church's Come, Follow Me manual!
As you follow Book of Mormon 365, you can read the assigned verses each day, or you can join the daily Come, Follow Me conversation in the Instagram comments. We will ask a question each day to get the conversation started—with some of the questions coming directly from the Come, Follow Me manual.
Last year, one reader began sending the daily question prompt in a group text with family members to discuss. Another reader said her family has been reading along with Book of Mormon 365 since it first started ten years ago and said, “It is my favorite part of our day when we gather together and read.”
How do you join? You can follow along on Instagram where we will post the reading assignments and question to ponder each day of 2024.
So whether you are an old friend or a new follower—and however you choose to get involved—we are so excited to learn and discuss with you, and we hope that you will join us and learn to love the Book of Mormon as much as we do.
