Teaming up with BRIDGES and Real Salt Lake, Alex Boye is putting on a benefit concert at the Rio Tinto Stadium for the 60,000 refugees in the Salt Lake community.
The design of the concert is to encourage as many refugee families as possible to attend while also celebrating their lives to build awareness of the challenges they've had to overcome.
On the event Facebook page, it says the event is meant to "inspire people to engage in serving [refugees] more as we overcome our differences and unite."
Performing with Boye will be local refugee youth as he sings some of his recent hits, such as "We All Bleed the Same." The concert will begin following the Real Monarchs game on September 3.
