With new temples announced and messages of hope, kindness, inclusion, and strong foundations, we are excited to study the important topics discussed during general conference and refocus our personal lives and actions. In the Sunday afternoon session, Elder David A. Bednar spoke about the importance of the messages of conference and encouraged us to use the principles taught in conference to govern our lives.

With the announcement of 20 new temples and President Russell M. Nelson's admonition to “do all you can . . . so that your temple opportunities can increase,” many of us are anxiously looking forward to the day when we can return to the temple. President Nelson also said:
“Temples are a vital part of the Restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ in its fulness. The ordinances of the temple fill our lives with power and strength—available in no other way. We thank God for those blessings.”

Sister Reyna I. In her new book, Reaching for the Savior, Sister Aburto addresses more specific ways we can reach for the Savior, from studying the Book of Mormon to temple worship to strengthening our wards to ministering and more. Through trials and difficulties, personal darkness, and mental and emotional struggles, we can find small and simple ways of drawing closer to God.

Each of the speakers from the Sunday morning session was from a different country.
