This story was originally published in May 2018 and has been updated to celebrate President Eyring's birthday.
President Henry B. Eyring was born on May 31, 1933. Known as "Hal" to his family, President Eyring married Kathleen Johnson in 1962 in the Logan Utah Temple, and they have six children. Prior to him being called as a General Authority, he served as the president of Ricks College.
We love President Eyring for his sense of humor, his constant smile, his unfailing optimism, his heartfelt and emotional messages to Church members, and his willingness to sacrifice all for the work of the Lord.
