Elder David A. Bednar was born on June 15, 1952, in Oakland, California. He married Susan Kae Robinson in the Salt Lake Temple in 1975, and they are the parents of three sons. Prior to him being called as a general authority, he served as the president of BYU-Idaho.
Elder Bednar is known for his optimism and fearless faith in the Savior. His knowledge of the scriptures and the gospel make him an inspiring teacher and leader. To celebrate this incredible apostle, here are some of our favorite photos from his life:
