Reclaiming our Inner Pionner is a series to explore how we can harness our mormony talents for industriousness and working the land and such. I wrote a bit about growing garlic in an earlier post, this is a follow up post discussing what to do with it once you’ve grown it.Garlic is harvested in mid summer. Once the leaves begin to die back, or when the bulbs are filled out (gently feel around in the soil to check), stop watering, this allows the skins to begin to dry out and the garlic will store better.
