New temple presidents

Two new temple presidents and their wives have been called by the First Presidency. They will begin their service later this year.

Mauricio Morales Lagunes, 70, Costa Verde Ward, Veracruz Mexico Mocambo Stake, called as president of the Veracruz Mexico Temple, succeeding President David K. Bickmore. President Morales' wife, María de Lourdes Castillo David de Morales, will serve as temple matron. He serves as the second counselor in the Veracruz Mexico Temple presidency and as a patriarch. He has served as a stake president, district president, counselor in a mission presidency and bishop. A retired automobile dealership employee, he was born in Paso de Ovejas, Veracruz, Mexico, to Bernardino Morales Grajales and Sara Lagunes Grajales de Morales.
