Hey, my parents wouldn't put up with that. They taught us that the Lord was taking stock of our actions, and if we were disrespectful to them we were breaking the 10 commandments. (True!) They also told us to treat others as we would like to be treated. I'm sure most teens don't think about that when it comes to their parents. But I'm all for bringing out what the Lord has to say on the subject. The Lord trumps all the modern psycho-babble on the subject.
