Sometimes it can feel like being both modest and fashionable is an impossible task, but you can find ideas in surprising places--like the red carpet.

I'll be the first to say--the celebrities we see splashed across magazines and portrayed in TV and films are probably the last people we should be trying to emulate. But it's hard to tell that to a teenage daughter who wants nothing more than to be "cool" and finds modesty a burden. These celebrities--even big names like Angelina Jolie, Scarlett Johannson, and Jessica Alba--while not often muses of modesty, show it is possible to be both glamorous and modest.
