I worked retail on the Sabbath a long time ago. After I was converted to the Gospel, I made a personal commitment that this would never happen again. I have the words set in my mind what I will say. "I will work any day and any shift that you ask. But the day you schedule me to work on a Sunday is the day I quit." End of discussion. If I were in the military or a nurse, CNA, firefighter, or police officer my attitude would be different. Often these type of employees get every other weekend off and I think the Lord would understand that.
