Watch: Harvard Divinity School Features Video About the Founding of the LDS Church

In celebration of the anniversary of the founding of the LDS Church on April 6, 1830, Harvard Divinity School published a video on Instagram featuring Latter-day Saint Natalie Campbell, who explains, "We have 16 million members now but we started with six."

Campbell shares the events that transpired the day the Church was organized, with baptisms, confirmations, partaking of the sacrament, singing, and celebrations marking that historic day. She shares, "We became a church officially, we are acknowledged by God, and that's our story."

On April 6, 1830, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was officially organized.
