Hundreds in Bountiful, Utah, fled their homes in the early morning hours of Friday as the Gun Range Fire caused mandatory evacuations between 1400 North and 900 East.
The fire, which began at 1 a.m., burned three homes and between 150 to 300 acres as of 10:30 a.m. and is 0 percent contained, according to KSL.

Evacuees were welcomed at meetinghouses on Main Street and Center Street, according to KSL.
A few pictures of this devastating fire were sent to KSL and show the Bountiful Utah Temple, which has not been damaged by fire, surrounded by flames.

Nearly 60 police officers and members of the Bountiful community have offered evacuation assistance and donations, according to KSL. Donations are being accepted at the Kaysville Police Department until 12:30 p.m. Friday.
"We hope everybody's okay, and our prayers go out to everybody, especially those who have lost homes and property," said Beth Smoot, a resident who has been volunteering with the shelters since early morning.
