Some people have criticized Church leaders in the past, claiming they do not relate to or connect with the youth of the Church today. Those critics obviously don't follow LDS leaders on Facebook.

Take, for instance, Sister Neill F. Marriott, second counselor in the general Young Women presidency. She recently posted a picture to her Facebook page of her riding her grandson's hoverboard. Talk about a grandma who is young at heart!

And, in her usual sweet fashion, Sister Marriott was able to find a way to turn this experience into a perfect object lesson for the gospel. With the picture, she posted:

Advice from my grandson, Peter Marriott, on how to ride his hoverboard: “You have to trust, look ahead, and move forward.” I think that’s a wonderful approach to hoverboards AND to life!

How lucky we are to have such inspired, youthful, fun, and relatable leaders guiding our Church today!
