The story centers around a beautiful Amish girl, Emma Miller. Emma teaches school, has a loving family, and has caught the eye of the town’s most eligible young man. But this Amish girl has more on her mind than buggies and bonnets: she longs for adventure; she wants to see the world. When given the opportunity to spend the summer with relatives in Charm, Ohio, Emma jumps at the chance.
While there, she meets a non-Amish woman who has come to town to escape her chaotic life, and despite their differences the two become friends. Torn between two men from two different worlds, Emma finds that she must decide whether to stay among the Amish or leave behind everyone and everything she has ever known.
The film is produced by Mission Pictures International, which specializes in producing high-quality family and faith-based entertainment for mainstream audiences worldwide. Covenant Communications has joined with Mission Pictures Studios to distribute this faith-based film to the LDS and national market.
