There is really no place like Primary. With singing time, coloring pages, and snack breaks, it may be the most fun room at church. But can you imagine what it would be like if Gru's loveable minions started going to primary? Here's what we think that might look like.
They would take singing time to a whole new level.
They might get a little over-excited singing "Jesus wants me for a sun . . . BEAM!"
They may be tempted to jazz up the happy birthday songs just a bit.
They are going to think "Once There Was a Snowman" is hilarious.
And we'd better be prepared to break the news when they take "Popcorn Popping on the Apricot Tree" a little too literally.
They would give the end-of-class cleanup song some extra flair.
They may be a little surprised to find out there aren't any treats on fast Sunday.
Understanding reverence might be a little harder for some of them.
Learning to share might also be a struggle.
But given some time we're sure they'll get the hang of it.
We can already feel their anticipation as they hope to be picked to help with sharing time,
and their sheer joy when one of them is chosen.
Minions would no doubt end an epic Primary program with a mic drop.
They may have a hard time focusing if your ward starts at 9 a.m.
Based off of their love and loyalty for Gru, we can only imagine how much minions will love their Primary teachers.
